Highlights from Ed Services @ Your Service German Home Event

Take a quick peek at the highlights of a fantastic day of community service at Lawrence's German Home.  Our intrepid ES@YS team gathered to provide some much-needed tender loving care to the German Home's back and front yard recreational spaces.  We cleaned the yards, weeded, planted an adorable flower garden and prepped a space for tomatoes.  We also edged and mulched their many existing flower beds. Before we left, we gifted them with six new stacking chairs for the residents to use in the newly spiffed-up space. Hot and tiring work, but we got so much done in a short space of time and had a blast doing it. I know that the residents and staff of the German Home really appreciated our efforts!

Chelmsford Military Covenant Volunteer Appreciation (4/12/12)

On April 12, the Military Covenant invited the Kronos Ed Services @ Your Service team to a Volunteer Appreciation event to say thank you for our efforts at the Devine family home in November.

The reception was hosted by the Covenant, and in attendance were many local dignataries, including Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, Town Manager Paul Cohen, and several local and Washington-based military figures.

One of the main speakers was MSG Edward Devine, who recently returned from a year-long deployment.  In his remarks, he personally thanked the Kronos volunteers for helping to prepare his home for his return.

The evening served as a wonderful affirmation that our efforts are appreciated and make a positive impact in the community.  A few pictures from the Appreciation event.

Merrimack Valley Food Bank Event (3/30/12)

The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is instrumental in providing food assistance to families in our community. (In fact, they are one of only four food banks in Massachusetts!)

After the MVFB ran their annual spring neighborhood food drive, the Ed Services @ Your Service Team helped to organize many hundreds of cans, bottles, and packages of donated food, and then moved the items to the Food Bank's shopping area, which is used to supply the area food pantries.  Hard work, but an interesting food adventure...You can't believe how old some of those gravy packets were!

Chelmsford Military Covenant Event with Devine Family - November 11, 2011

For the inaugural event of Kronos Ed Services @ Your Service, we linked up with the Chelmsford Military Covenant to provide a day of service to the family of a deployed soldier in Chelmsford. Our team of twelve swooped in and spent the morning cleaning the home and yard, cleaning out their shed, raking and mowing the lawn, and planting some pretty fall flowers in the garden.  We topped it all off with a big yellow ribbon tied around their tree to welcome home our solider, MSG Edward Devine.

Here are a few pics from the day.
